Human Angle Initiative
Building Pathways to Safety, Stability, and Belonging
We are committed to supporting African refugees and asylum seekers as they rebuild their lives with dignity, safety, and opportunity. Through temporary housing support, early settlement navigation, and community integration services. We help individuals and families transition from crisis and uncertainty toward stability and independence.
THE CHALLENGE
The Critical First Months
Every year, African refugees arrive in Canada seeking protection and a fresh start. While Canada offers safety and opportunity, the first weeks and months after arrival are often the most challenging. Many newcomers face immediate housing instability, unfamiliar systems, limited social support, and financial uncertainty.
Human Angle Initiative exists to ensure that no African refugee faces this critical transition period alone.
OUR PURPOSE
Early Support Changes Long-Term Outcomes
Access to safe housing, reliable information, and community connection during early resettlement significantly improves long-term integration, employment success, and overall well-being. Our programs are designed to provide stability during the most vulnerable period of the resettlement journey.
